As the weather is cold, I thought I would show you a pair of womenswear gauntlet gloves, in black astrakhan or Persian lamb
fur; above wrist (button length 4), with fur back and black leather palm, outseams, Boulton thumb, quirks and fourchettes, lined
lamb’s wool. I hope that helps make your hands feel warmer.
The gloves are dated between 1930 and 1939, they were made by Glovemaker, Bourne Dawson and were sold by Dickins &
Jones. Unfortunately, we have no further information about these items.
