Despite the need for a few changes of plan, and ultimately the cancellation of any physical events, the Company held its Court meeting on Monday 2nd November to conduct normal business and also to thank (now) Past Assistant Oscar Holmes for his contribution as an Assistant; to have Assistant Alastair Collett swear the oath of Third Under Warden and Stephen Marsh and Katharine Ray to swear the oath of an Assistant. This was followed on Tuesday 3rd November with an Installation Ceremony held on Zoom. The ceremony involved prayers led by Honorary Chaplain and Liveryman Jeremy Crossley followed by the full ceremonial clothing that usually takes place in St Margaret Lothbury but this time taking place in various sitting rooms up and down the country. We concluded with the Glovers Collect and the speeches made by Renter Warden Daphne Cave, outgoing Master, Roger De Courcey and finally from our new Master, Richard Morris.
