Having donated funds for gloves, on behalf of the CPC Christine Smith and Minnie Harris visited the hospice in St John’s Wood on 16th October. We had the opportunity to see the amazing grade 2 listed ‘Roman’ chapel, the small but beautiful garden, a specialist area where children and families can receive bereavement support and the wellness centre.

Wellbeing services include physiotherapy, complementary therapies, therapeutic art and music. We met the resident art facilitator and a number of patients who, wearing gloves, were creating clay items. Our gloves are also used in the kitchen and garden and for medical purposes. The hospice uses an astonishing 2,000 medical gloves every week and are delighted that we are able to support them.
